Measuring A Monitoring Project Performance -Myassignmenthelp.Com
Question: Discuss About The Measuring A Monitoring Project Performance? Answer: Introducation I had presented a project related to the establishment of a gym as physical health has been identified as one of the major problem of the current situation. In the previous assignment I had presented the needed strategy for the complete execution of the project and tried to manage and maintain all the aspects related to the project. Gold Coast Campus of the SCU needed a place for the students to be fit and relieve the stress while having so much chaos in the present time due to the work stress and pollution. The estimated time for the project completion was eight months and the budget were estimated to be $520,00 with the help of proper sponsors. However, the present schedule and budget has been a greater value and larger scheduled despite of having a better ROI. I had identified that these objectives could be possibly decreased with the help of more research on the products and resources that we will be needing for the execution of the project. Risk management plan was developed con sidering all the facts however, it should cover much wide area considering the external impacts and a contingency plan will be helpful for the effective and efficient execution of the project (Fleming and Koppelman 2016). The aim of this essay is to link the discussed theory with the experience that I and my team had gathered after the feedback on the project proposal presented in the earlier assignment. I will try to make the critical path shorter in length in manner to complete the project before the estimated time and in less budget than it was calculated. Other objective of my involvement will be on the advertisement of the gym and its beneficial aspects to attract the customers and aware them about the products and services we are offering with this project (Walker 2015). The project was developed using the agile methodology however, lean practices along with the agile could lead to the positive impact on the project constraints. Stakeholders would be able to get positive responses and outputs from the project through their involvement in manner to make this project successful as it cannot be achieved without the contribution of each stakeholder individually. Considering every aspect is always a critical aspect for the project planning and proper documentation is necessary including much time that should be spent on documenting these objectives. I am expecting to spent much time in future for another project in manner to record and enlist all the objectives and activities involved in the project and enlist those activities in the same way as earlier (Leach 2014). However, I will try to find loop and interconnect the activities with each other in manner to make the critical path of the project shorter and deliver the objectives of the project earlier than the expected time. Saving time could lead to certain threats and risks that will need to be eliminate at the very early stage of the project (Dyba, Dingsoyr and More 2014). I had applied the PMBOK project management methodology that is always a best solution for such projects as per the theory and thus tried to follow the waterfall methodology in manner to deliver the project successfully and bring out the potential outputs from the project. RACI matrix and stakeholder matrix were already introduced in the previous project report however, KPI indicator will be another attempt that will be presented in next attempt for the betterment of the project and dig out all the information (Nicholas and Steyn 2017). Project planning is always the most crucial objective for any project and my next move will be to spent more time on the research and present an exact document of the enlisted activities and risks that might possibly affect the efficiency of the project. The presented chart for the products was the normal price of the market however, these products could be made available to the customers at lower prices if proper approach has been given on searching same products at lower price in the market and thus will affect the budget of the project in a positive manner (Snyder 2014). In the risk management sector, we had identified internal factors those could potentially impact the project constraints and thus the next approach will be to interrelate the internal and external factors within the risk management. This will be helpful in the long run of the project as only a risk free project can be expected to run I the long race and attract customers through providing better and attractive products and offers (Krezner 2017). In the whole project, we had not considered the advertising project as an important factor however, every project needs a proper and effective advertisement program in manner to make sure that the targeted customers are well aware with the products and services those will be provided with this project. I had learnt that despite of having theoretical knowledge practical experience is always an important factor for the proper estimation and execution of the project that is capable of meeting the needs and requirements of the consumers without any fall back or drawbacks. The data presented in the previous report were the better ones but those could be modified and thus changes could be made that will obviously affect the budget and schedule of the project but in positive and effective manner. Based on the above essay it can be concluded that the facts presented in the previous project report were real however, data presented in that report could be modified and positive impact could be provided to the project constraints without affecting the actual budget and schedule of the project. Project planning should be done in an efficient manner and extra time should be provided on the collection and recording of data in manner to relate all the objectives and activities of the project. Thus , it can be stated that various learnings were gained during the earlier project report presentation that was helpful for me in understanding that the facts could be true however, certain research can be made to make the data more accurate nd present efficient deliverables for the project.
